Carlos Blanco Chairman - Nuclio Venture Builder Carlos Blanco Vázquez (Barcelona, ​​1968) is a serial entrepreneur and private investor in the tech sector. In 2001 he founded Grupo ITnet, an online business incubator specialized in digital entertainment from which he created more than ten companies. In the meantime he founded First Tuesday Spain, the main meeting point for Internet entrepreneurs and investors. He is also the founder of Akamon Entertainment, a traditional social gaming and casino company that became the leader in Southern Europe and Latin America. He sold it at the end of 2015, becoming one of the most important exits of the year in Spain. In 2013, he founded the startups accelerator Conector Startup Accelerator with some of the most successful tech entrepeneurs in Spain. In 2014, he won the Best Entrepreneur in Spain Award, according to Expansión and Ifema, and the Best Business Angel Award, according to AEBAN. He recently founded Nuclio Venture Builder by closing Grupo Itnet. He has also launched Encomenda Smart Capital, a venture capital firm.
